11:00pm

Yesterday, Nolan seemed absolutely fine. Other than frequent diaper changes, he seemed to be handling food well, with no signs of stomach upset. He ate toast, grilled cheese, blueberries, and several snacks, and kept them all down.

Until 11:00pm. That's when the blueberries came back to haunt us, all over Nolan's sheets.

Another night on the couch, with a squirmy and uncomfortable little boy. One more night of gurgly stomach, which causes me to hold the bowl nervously, in the hope of reducing the volume of puke-induced laundry.

I'm not sure if this is a virus, acid reflux and his delayed gastric emptying (likely, since everything is completely undigested), or a combination of both. In any case, we are all very sad, because all play dates and today's field trip to Presque Isle have been canceled.

Let's all hope that the puke-fest is over- I'm pretty sure this is my least favorite kind of "sick."

The puking is horrible. I think it scares the little kids too. I hope he's done and you can get a good night's sleep.
