As a disclaimer, he isn't actually reading the words. He's matching the words to the shadowed word in the book. Still, it is pretty good for a three year old!
Wow, Leah, you and the therapist have been doing an amazing job. I would say that, despite having hearing loss, Nolan even seems advanced for his age! Also, his speech is so clear that I could discern every word, even though his back is turned away from the camera. I didn't need the subtitles! Nolan is a good example of the importance of getting kids to love books from a young age. I'm so glad that my husband and I have both shared our love of books with X because it'll go a long way in teaching him to read.
Keep up the good work! And post more videos. I love hearing his sweet voice. It gives me some hope for X's progress.
