We have been introducing Christmas carols of late, and Nolan loves Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer- with one exception. He insists it must be Rudolph the Red Nosed Rein Moose. I have no idea where this came from, but he is quite insistent! For your viewing pleasure (I cannot carry a tune in a bucket- listen at your own risk), here is Nolan correcting my Reindeer song:
Of course, I realize this presents a great listening game. I try to sneak in "Reindeer" to see if he'll notice- he catches it every time!

Adorable!
that's hilarious! Where did he ever come up with "rein-MOOSE"???
Well, a moose is related to a deer, right?
I have absolutely no idea, but he is quite insistent that it be "Rein Moose!"
I have a couple of theories about it. The first is that the sign for moose is the same as the sign for deer- though why he would prefer "moose" as a word is still beyond me!
The second is that he has difficulty with the concept of a group- he calls most four legged animals "goats," for example. All cartoon ducks are "Donald Duck." Any liquid served in a mug is "coffee," even if it is tomato soup.
So he might be insisting that all deer-like animals are "moose." I don't think I'll ever know for sure!
That is absolutely hilarious! Your boys are just precious!!!
aw! Miles loved watching that! Thanks for sharing!
Verrrry cute!!
Oh my God,If Nolan has even a bit of fluid, refrain from putting the aid as it only helps to multiply the bacteria which thrive in dark and moist environment. The skin too becomes too sensitive and any rubbing by the mould would increase his chances of a bad infection. till you see a doctor, remove the aid and blow dry the ear .I pray Nolan is soon all right.
i love this. that's one of the inside family jokes that will probably last throughout his childhood...long after he has discovered they really are reindeers. too cute.
You can try cleaning his ear with an earbud dipped in spirit. It helps to keep a bit of pain away.Blow drying the ear definitely helps.I hope he does not suffer like Prisha, she cries in pain so much.
