We're going to have a busy spring.dleflerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10699612034298659706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2074245988180152453.post-90127119500063644292013-02-05T07:00:25.926-08:002013-02-05T07:00:25.926-08:00You could have a promising career as a medicalese-...You could have a promising career as a medicalese-English transciptioner. I'm still hopeful that removing his tonsils and adenoids will bring enough improvement that he won't need further treatment. He scored a brain MRI for having such insane numbers.

The sleep neuro's office really pushed me to get one done for Matt before our initial ENT consult - apnea can run in families and both Dennis and his brother have apnea (of the normal variety, not Nolan's airway condition).

Interesting that they remove tonsils and adenoids differently for kids with CI's. Nolan's were removed when he was 2 years old, so at least we'll never have to worry about that in the future (if his hearing loss continues to progress).dleflerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10699612034298659706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2074245988180152453.post-2405392113840683772013-02-04T08:36:25.188-08:002013-02-04T08:36:25.188-08:00Oh - one thing I did not know until our consult la...Oh - one thing I did not know until our consult last week -- they have a different procedure to remove tonsils for kids with CIs.

MBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07206411306306537264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2074245988180152453.post-603447764423860352013-02-04T08:34:47.949-08:002013-02-04T08:34:47.949-08:00That's a pretty high AHI for a kid.
